Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
- VS Code Version: 1.136.1
- OS Version: Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open VS Code with a remote SSH connection.
- Move the mouse cursor over the
SSH: xx.xx.x.xxx status bar item.
- Observe the left edge of the SSH status bar item.
Actual Behavior:
When hovering over the SSH status bar item, a small portion of the blue active/hover area remains visible on the left side of the item. This creates a visual gap/offset and makes the hover state appear misaligned. The issue persists after resizing the VS Code window, both when making the window larger and when making it smaller.
Expected Behavior:
The hover/active background should cover the entire SSH status bar item consistently, without leaving a portion of the blue area exposed on the left side.
