Short description

code2art (2016- ) is a pioneering community and knowledge platform centered around AI, interactive media, and generative art, connecting cross-disciplinary experimenters worldwide.

Full event description

In 2026, Processing celebrates its 25th anniversary. Processing Community Day (PCD) will once again connect practitioners of creative programming, artists, designers, educators, students, and the open-source community through a global community node.

PCD Suzhou 2026, themed "Weaving," will discuss how AI and algorithms organize rules, images, sounds, materials, and relationships between people like warp and weft, reconnecting creative programming, generative art, artificial intelligence, and Suzhou's weaving culture within a contemporary context.

Regarding "Weaving," projects are not required to directly use silk, patterns, or traditional techniques.

We focus more on: how you build new connections using code, algorithms, tools, education, or community practices.
