ember-initials - Text + Emoji in name field throws URIError

Steps to reproduce.
visit: https://exelord.com/ember-initials/
Enter an emoji for Name Property. For example: '🍕Pizza'.
Ember initials throws an error.

 Uncaught URIError: URI malformed
    at encodeURIComponent (<anonymous>)
