Summary

  • When auto mode is on and no preset matches, the autoprofile loop now binds audio capture to any newly-playing app that isn't in a built-in non-game list (browsers, Discord, media players, desktop shells, SteamVR processes) — unsupported games get audio haptics with zero setup.
  • Uses current slider settings; same restore-previous-setup-on-exit and hands-off-if-user-overrides behavior as named presets. Skipped while a native haptics client is connected (audio is suppressed then anyway).
  • README updated.

Stacked on #8 (contains its commit); merge #8 first and this rebases clean.

Test plan

  • ruff + py_compile pass
  • Launch a presetless game (e.g. battlemarked.exe), confirm "auto follow: audio mode bound to ..." in journal and vest buzzes
  • Quit the game, confirm previous audio setup is restored
  • Manually change source mid-game, confirm the loop stops touching it

bHaptics game SDK clients never answer RFC6455 pings (the official
Player doesn't send any), so the websockets library defaults
(ping_interval=20, ping_timeout=20) closed every game connection after
exactly 40 seconds, losing any haptic events fired during the reconnect
gap.

Previously audio capture only followed a game automatically if a preset
named after the app existed; otherwise the user had to pick the source
in the UI for every unsupported game. Now the autoprofile loop falls
back to binding capture (current slider settings) to any newly-playing
app that isn't a known non-game (browsers, comms, media players,
desktop shells, SteamVR processes), with the same restore-on-exit and
hands-off-on-override rules as presets.
