The vscode:// etc links (e.g. ray) open in a new tab in firefox and leave it open. This does not happen in Chrome (as it closes itself after opening in the external program.
If I do a ray()->trace() then the trace paths work and do not open a new tab, open the editor as expected and don't leave a blank tab open.
It would be great to not have a target="_blank" on editor links, so Firefox users don't have to manually close a blank tab
