I would like to generate the STMT_HTML file with cmake, but it doesn't seem to be generated in the example apps, or? For example, according to the docs for the wavelet app, I change the cmake file as follows:
# Filters
-add_halide_library(daubechies_x FROM wavelet.generator)
+add_halide_library(daubechies_x FROM wavelet.generator STMT_HTML)
add_halide_library(inverse_daubechies_x FROM wavelet.generator)
add_halide_library(haar_x FROM wavelet.generator)
add_halide_library(inverse_haar_x FROM wavelet.generator)
I can build the app, but I don't see any *html file. I can generate the stmt_html output by calling the generator manually, but I wonder if it shouldn't be generated as part of the build process?

You're missing an argument to STMT_HTML. The argument should be a variable name to which to write the output path for the
.stmt.htmlfile.Note the syntax from the docs is:
I'm not sure
cmake_parse_argumentswill do the right thing if you don't supply the output variable name.FabianSchuetze commentedon Jul 1, 2025
Ouch... It seems the heatwave we're currently experiencing is roasting my brain. Thanks a lot!
Nevertheless, would that be an opportunity for a verbose check?
