$conf['sessionhandler']['hashtable'] = false;It looks like the session goes invalid after 60 minutes of no interacting with the web page. If I interact with it, then it seems to reset the 60 minute timer.
Don't mix topics in the same issue.
So the session timeout and the session display problem are two different issues? I guessed they were related. My mistake.

Under Administration->Configuration.
If one clicks on "Sessions" on the left panel, I get the following message:
Current Sessions
Listing sessions failed: Backend does not support session iteration
On Horde build 6.0.0RC5, the same configuration displays the active sessions:
