Closed

Description

@italanchan

When use Pyodbc, the connection string is work.
connstr = 'DRIVER={ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server};SERVER=myserver;DATABASE=mydb;UID=myuid;PWD=mypwd;APP=MyApp;MARS_Connection=Yes;TrustServerCertificate=yes;'

But use mssql-python, raise error:
connstr = 'SERVER=myserver;DATABASE=mydb;UID=myuid;PWD=mypwd;APP=MyApp;TrustServerCertificate=yes;'

ConnectionStringParseError: Connection string parsing failed:
Reserved keyword 'app' is controlled by the driver and cannot be specified by the user

How to add application name?
