Lower requires-python to 3.11 and add fallbacks for itertools.batched and typing.override. Replace PEP 695 generic syntax with a TypeVar. Test 3.11 in CI and use pypy3.

The package requires Python 3.12. It can't be installed on 3.11.
Solution
Lower
requires-pythonto 3.11. Add fallbacks foritertools.batchedandtyping.override(viatyping-extensionson <3.12), and replace PEP 695 generics with aTypeVar. Test 3.11 in CI.
