Have a way to rollback to previous way of handling tasks #8963

The change in 6.6.1 render every task with a start and a due date as multi-day events which they are not.
Before this update, only the due date was shown in the calendar which was handy. Now, as I have 140 tasks and subtasks, it's absolutely unreadable.
Describe the solution you'd like
The old way was working fine for me but I suppose the new one is handy for people with fewer tasks.
Maybe a configurable threshold that revert back to the ancient way when there is too many tasks on one day ? Or an one-way/another button ?

Hello, I totally support @sedric proposal.
Before upgrade it was handy to see tasks due dates in monthly view of calendar app. After upgrade I see many looong lines from task start date to its due date.
As I have many tasks, it made calendar monthly view messy. Moreover, now it doesnt fit the whole month on one screen, but it requires to scroll 2 or 3 screens down, to see whole month.
The only solution was to switch off tasks view.

What exactly are you asking for? Saying the "old way" does not really help, as the old way was actually broken.
Is the issue that we are now showing tasks that have a start date but no end date? All all your task without a due date?

I did some rollbacks to have a before/after so you'll better understand (sorry for my broken english).
This is how to was displaying from ... As old as I can remember (and this instance is old enough to have been an ownCloud one) until calendar v6.4
You only see the event on their due date.
This is how it look now (screen of the same days, on the same account, with the same datas) :
You see the event on all dates from start date to due date. Note that it's longer I can get, but i continue off screen.
I think this display is unexploitable when you have a lot of tasks (like in this screenshot) and, since tasks appears differently, it would be nice to have a way of getting the old way as an option for tasks.
