📋 Review Summary

This pull request refactors the Gemini CLI review workflow and introduces a new Python file. The workflow changes simplify the setup and improve user experience with reaction acknowledgements. However, the new Python file contains critical security vulnerabilities and an unused variable.

🔍 General Feedback

  • The refactoring of the Gemini review workflow is a positive change, improving the clarity and maintainability of the GitHub Actions. It correctly handles various triggers and context loading.
  • The deletion of gemini-dispatch.yml seems to be part of the workflow consolidation, which is acceptable if the functionality is indeed subsumed or no longer required.
  • The newly added Python file, another_bad_file.py, has critical security and minor code quality issues that need to be addressed before merging.

[MINOR] Unused Variable: The variable unused_var is defined but never used. Consider removing it or using it if it serves a purpose.

[CRITICAL] SQL Injection Vulnerability: The get_user_data function is vulnerable to SQL injection. User input (username) is directly embedded into the SQL query via an f-string. This allows attackers to inject malicious SQL code.

Suggested change
query = f"SELECT * FROM users WHERE username = '{username}'"
import sqlite3
def get_user_data(username):
conn = sqlite3.connect('users.db')
cursor = conn.cursor()
query = "SELECT * FROM users WHERE username = ?"
cursor.execute(query, (username,))
return cursor.fetchall()
