stemmer (Stemmer, optional): A custom stemmer to use instead of the default SnowballStemmer.
Its stem_word method receives lowercase tokens after stopword and length filtering,

for documents and queries. For parallel embedding it must be deepcopyable and
pickleable, with its class defined in an importable module. Defaults to None.

Skip bundled stopword files when inline stopwords are provided.

Bm25 selects inline stopwords after download_model runs. The model description still includes every language file in additional_files, so the download path requests those files even though _load_stopwords is skipped. Exclude the bundled stopword files from the download when stopwords is provided.

model-description or download flow so inline stopwords are detected before
download_model runs and bundled stopword files are excluded from
additional_files; retain the existing bundled-file behavior when no inline
stopwords are provided.

@joein, you are right: download_model has no include/exclude API. My proposed mechanism was incorrect.

The underlying concern still applies. download_model builds its download patterns from model.additional_files, which contains the bundled BM25 stopword files. When inline stopwords are supplied, Bm25 could pass a separate model description with additional_files=[]. When inline stopwords are not supplied, it should pass the original description. This would avoid changing the shared model description.

Learning: In `fastembed/common/model_management.py`, `download_model` has no include/exclude API. It builds Hugging Face download patterns from `model.model_file` and `model.additional_files`. A caller that needs different files can pass a separate model description with a different `additional_files` list.

Note: Learnings are effective only in the context of similar code segments. To apply general coding guidelines, please configure review instructions. You can manage existing learnings in the app.
