Summary

  • strengthen callback freshness, cancellation, progress ownership, sizing, text transitions, accessibility, Reduced Motion, and numeric validation
  • preserve native React Native mechanics while decomposing rendering, gesture, progress, and size ownership into focused internal modules
  • add package CI, API documentation, payload gates, and package-owned regression coverage
  • align the Expo demo iconography, navigation, size examples, and README developer journey

Compatibility

  • keep the compatibility bridge additive, retain legacy aliases, and document remaining major-version geometry debt
  • validate the reviewed API Extractor report and npm package contents without changing package entry points

Verification

  • yarn release:check — passed
  • 12 Jest suites, 128 tests, and 2 snapshots — passed
  • API Extractor, TSDoc coverage, CommonJS/ES module/type builds, and the 322-file npm payload check — passed

Visual verification

  • iPhone 17 Pro through Expo Go: reviewed themed, progress, social, size-change, icon, sizing, and text-transition states

Notes

  • legacy React Native geometry defaults remain documented compatibility debt for a future major release
  • GitHub-hosted CI could not start because the account is currently locked for billing; the complete local release gate reported above passed on the submitted commit
  • related work: Flutter #2, Kotlin #2, and Swift #2
