Code of conduct

Red Socket's projects are made by and for players. We want everyone who takes part to feel welcome, whatever their background, identity or experience.

Expected

  • Be kind and patient, especially with people who are new to modding or to GitHub.
  • Assume good intent, and ask before assuming the worst.
  • Give feedback about the work, not the person.
  • Respect people's time and their wish to step away from a discussion.

Not accepted

  • Harassment, insults, threats or personal attacks.
  • Discriminatory jokes or language.
  • Sexual content or unwelcome attention.
  • Publishing someone's private information without their permission.
  • Repeatedly pushing a topic after being asked to stop.

Enforcement

Maintainers can edit or remove comments, lock discussions, and block people who don't follow this code. Depending on what happened, they may start with a warning or go straight to a ban.

Reporting

If someone's behavior concerns you, use GitHub's Report content option on the comment or issue, or contact a maintainer on GitHub. Reports are handled privately.

This code applies in all Red Socket repositories and in any space where someone represents the projects.
