The shellhub-io org now runs its jobs on octocat, a NixOS host that boots a throwaway microVM per job (OSSystems/microvm-github-runners). Each VM starts from a fresh disk with its own Docker daemon and the build tools the jobs need, so a job leaves nothing behind for the next one and never reaches the host. Jobs target the runner scale set by its name, octocat-microvm. The Windows build drops its apt-based Wine install: the runners have no apt or sudo, and carry Wine and Yarn in their package set instead. The macOS build stays on macos-latest, as the runners are Linux only.
