Summary

Characterizes the existing CLI and config release behavior ahead of the semantic-release migration.

  • Pins CLI title-only commit classification behavior.
  • Expands config path-selection coverage across additions, deletions, renames, merges, and edge cases.
  • Adds temporary-Git integration tests using the real semantic-release dry-run API.
  • Covers legacy-to-namespaced migration, active beta continuation, independent beta/stable baselines, and subsequent stable releases.
  • Replays representative historical intervals with exact commit ordering and path ownership.
  • Characterizes release-note availability and independently diverging CLI/config histories.
  • Makes no changes to production release or publishing behavior.
