Closes #6
What was wrong
The
upbound-hubskill only loaded in Claude Code. The README's "Other agents"section said "Not supported yet" for every other agent, and nothing verified that
the skill actually loads in Codex.
What this does
.agents/skills/upbound-hub, a relative symlink intoskills/upbound-hub/.Codex scans
.agents/skillsfrom the working directory up to the repository rootand follows symlinked skill folders, so this makes the skill discoverable by Codex
without moving any file and without adding vendor-specific frontmatter.
stating exactly what was verified and what still needs a Codex login + Hub endpoint.
Kept to the two changes the issue asks for (step 4: a manifest/symlink alongside
.claude-plugin/; step 5: the README). Step 6 is a no-op — Codex has no separatemanifest validator to add next to the
claude plugin validatecalls.How to Test
make check(i.e.python3 hack/validate.py all) — 8 checks pass with the symlink in place.python3 -m unittest discover -s hack/tests— passes.readlink -f .agents/skills/upbound-hub/SKILL.md→
skills/upbound-hub/SKILL.md.codex doctor(0.154.0) detects the repository at/src; a livehub-setuprun needsa Codex login and a Hub endpoint, the same prerequisites as for any other agent.
